The Store - Bulk is the primary storage area for all delivered supplies and equipment prior to distribution to hospital services / departments.
The Bulk Store should be located with ready access to the loading dock area. Some departments, such as pharmacy, renal dialysis and pathology, will have bulk storage spaces that are managed independently.
