The change cubicle is provided for ambulant patients to undress from street clothes into a hospital gown, as appropriate, prior to examination or treatment. . The change cubicle should provide facilities for hanging clothes and a bench or chair for the patient to sit on while changing.
This Standard Component has been reviewed, redocumented and reissued. These changes include findings from recent projects and post occupancy evaluations. In most cases, the changes are significant.
