HPU480 describes operational, functional and design requirements for a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Unit. PET is a nuclear medicine technology that uses short-lived radioisotopes to enable the non-invasive imaging of metabolic functions within the body.
An updated revision of HPU480 PET Unit (Revision 5, 1 March 2016) has been uploaded. This revision reflects only minor changes that have been necessary to ensure consistency across all documents. Changes include:
- reformatting of the SoA include codes and a uniform naming convention
- a new simplified numbering system to replace existing clause codes
