An Anteroom is associated with selected isolation rooms for maintenance of air pressurisation and for staff and visitors to change and dispose of protective gear used on entering or exit. A staff handwashing basin will be located within the room. A glazing is recommended for patient and staff visibility.
This Standard Component has been reviewed, redocumented and reissued. These changes include findings from recent projects and post occupancy evaluations. In most cases, the changes are significant.
