Home » News & Updates » Second call for input: Review of AusHFG Item Codes and Naming Conventions
Date published 20/12/2016

In October this year, we announced the start of a review of AusHFG item codes and naming conventions.

An AusHFG ‘item’ is any item that appears in the Room Data Sheets under the Room Fabrics, Fittings and Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment & Associated Services, and Services lists.

Since then, both the AHIA BIM sub-group and a supporting workgroup of industry representatives have been busy shaping the new-look coding and naming conventions.

We are now ready to seek AusHFG user community input on the proposed coding and naming systems, as well as feedback on the format of the draft Item Control Schedule.

Attached to this news item you will find:

  1. AusHFG review of item coding and naming conventions – update.pdf(read this document first)
  2. AusHFG Item Control Schedule – DRAFT 8.xls – which contains selected lists of items to illustrate the proposed coding and naming conventions

Submissions can be made by using the AusHFG “Give Feedback” button on the top of the AusHFG home page: https://healthfacilityguidelines.com.au/user/login

Please title your input ‘AusHFG review of item codes and naming conventions’

Submissions close at 5pm on Friday 20 January 2017.
