New AHIA Resource: 3D Visualisations for Standard Components

Date published 31/03/2026

We are excited to announce the availability of an initial set of 3D visualisations, developed as single-point panoramas, on the AusHFG website. This new resource complements the Standard Components, alongside the Room Layout Sheets (RLS) and Room Data Sheets (RDS).

These panoramas are intended as an additional tool to support planning and design discussions by enabling staff, consumers, and project team members to better understand spatial layouts, visualise equipment, and assess spatial relationships, supporting more informed decision-making.

The panoramas can be accessed in a number of ways:

  1. Standard Components page on the AusHFG website: This page now includes an additional column where links to panoramas can be accessed if one is available.
  2. 3D Viewer page: The new page allows you to access and navigate between all available panoramas.
  3. QR codes on Room Layout Sheets: Scanning the code on any device will open the 3D view in a standard web browser - no special software or equipment required. If a panorama is not currently available, the viewer instead hosts images of the RLS.
  4. New links in the File for Import: This resource now includes an additional column containing URLs directing to AusHFG panoramas. If a corresponding field is created within a project database, these links can be imported for use in custom reporting with generated QR codes.

Panoramas have been developed for the following Standard Components:

We also extend a thank you to all individuals and stakeholders who contributed to the creation of these resources.

Kind Regards,

The AusHFG Team
