Following extensive consultation with clinical and technical experts, the following resources have been updated:
Maternity Standard Components
Changes include updating rooms to reflect contemporary operational models, equipment and design requirements. All room names and sizes have been updated to align with the recently updated HPU 510 Maternity Unit.
The updated Standard Components include:
- BIRM-A – Birthing Room, Without Pool
- BIRM-B – Birthing Room, With Pool
- ENS-BR – Ensuite – Birthing Room
The following Standard Components have been retired:
- BFLW-ENC - Bay - Flowers, Enclosed, 4m2
- BFLW-OP - Bay - Flowers, Open Plan, 2m2
Clinical Support Standard Components
Rooms have been updated to reflect contemporary operational models, FFE and design requirements and to support staff safety and amenity.
The updated Standard Components (Patient Spaces) include:
- BBEV – Bay - Beverage (previously BBEV-OP)
- DINR – Dining - Patient
- LNGE-10 – Lounge - Patient / Visitor, 10m2 (previously LNPT-10)
- LNGE-20 – Lounge - Patient / Visitor, 20m2 (previously LNPF-20)
The updated Standard Components (Support Spaces) include:
- BLIN – Bay - Linen
- BMT – Bay - Meal Trolley
- DISP-10 – Disposal Room, 10m2
- DISP-15 – Disposal Room, 15m2 (new)
- STBK – Store - Bulk (previously STBK-20)
- STCL – Store - Cleaner
The following Standard Components have been retired:
- BBEV-ENC – Bay - Beverage, Enclosed, 5m2
- CLRM-10 – Cleaner's Room, 10m2
- DISP-8 – Disposal Room, 8m2
- LNPA-12 – Lounge - Parent, 12m2
- LNPT-30 – Lounge - Patient / Family, 30m2
- STBK-40 – Store - Bulk, 40m2

Due to a model update that is in progress, an updated version of the AusHFG Revit Model cannot be provided at this time. The following Resources do NOT yet reflect the above changes to Standard Components:

- AusHFG IFC Model
