Content Update: Standard Components File for Import

Date published 02/03/2026

We are pleased to advise that the Standard Components File for Import has now been fully updated to align all Standard Components with the Item Control Schedule (ICS), following its major revision published in 2025. This update ensures consistency across AusHFG resources and supports smoother integration into project documentation and planning, briefing, and design workflows.

Updated Resources:

Please note that the Standard Components published since May 2025 have undergone full AHIA review and through that process were fully translated into the new ICS coding. The remaining Standard Components have not been reviewed and have been translated only without content review or updates. To highlight the level of translation applied to each Standard Component, a dedicated column has been included in the updated File for Import (in the “Room Template Data” Sheet, Column D) to clearly differentiate between these categories.

Alongside the ICS updated in 2025, Room Data Sheet (RDS) format was also updated. This RDS includes a number of new performance requirement tick-box fields. In those Standard Components that have been translated without content review, only the fields that can be directly mapped from the performance requirements in the old RDS to those in the new RDS have been populated, while the remaining fields have been left blank in the File for Import. The full content review including performance requirements will be addressed through the usual AusHFG five year review cycle.

Individual RDS (pdf and excel) for translated Standard Components will also be published in the coming months.

We appreciate your ongoing support and patience as we work to align the Standard Components with the significantly enhanced ICS to improve the quality and usability of AusHFG resources.

Kind Regards,

The AusHFG Team
