HPU600 describes operational, functional and design requirements for a Radiation Oncology Unit. Radiation therapy is the medical use of ionising radiation as part of cancer treatment of tumours.
An updated revision of HPU600 Radiation Oncology Unit (Revision 7, 1 March 2016) has been uploaded. This revision reflects only minor changes that have been necessary to ensure consistency across all documents. Changes include:
- reformatting of the SoA include codes and a uniform naming convention
- a new simplified numbering system to replace existing clause codes
