HPU240 Health Information Unit describes operational, functional and design requirements for the maintenance and management of medical records, both hard copy and electronic.

An updated revision of HPU240 Health Information Unit (Revision 6, 1 March 2016) has been uploaded. This revision reflects only minor changes that have been necessary to ensure consistency across all documents. Changes include:

  • reformatting of the SoA include codes and a uniform naming convention
  • a new simplified numbering system to replace existing clause codes
